#25 - Yoga + Safari Conservation Retreat in Kenya

Our group of 14 guests got off the grid on our favorite private conservancy in Kenya, right on the Equator. They had epic wildlife sightings such as zebras, giraffes, rhinos, lions and more. Some favorite moments were seeing a family of elephants cross the river that runs through our safari cottage accommodations and meeting the last two Northern White Rhinos on earth. And of course, the nightly sundower drinks on the plains!

#24 - Yoga in Paradise: Pacific Mexico

One of our most boutique retreat experiences is at our favorite villa in Puerto Vallarta's best neighborhood - Zona Romantica. Our group of 10 guests enjoyed our amazing villa with morning yoga and local breakfast served up daily, multiple private dinners with our favorite local chef and lots of chances to dive into ceviche and margaritas on the beach - overlooking the Pacific Ocean!

Always a guest favorite - we ventured out with local oceanologists and conservationists for a morning of epic whale watching! From our private boat, the group witnessed more than a dozen whales surfacing and breeching in Puerto Vallarta's Bay of Banderas. The humpback whales migrate there every winter to have their babies.

One day, the group ventured into the mountain town of Boquete for the option between a coffee plantation tour or a rugged waterfall hike. On our final full day, we had an island day - our private boat took the group island hopping, complete with snorkeling, a beach lunch of fried fish and plantains and beach yoga!

Guests also enjoyed optional surfing lessons, kayaking excursions and on-site massages - along with lots of walks, hikes and trips to the beach during down time around the property.

#22 - Yoga + Culture in Charming Cambodia

A group of 13 intrepid guests ventured all the way to Southeast Asia to explore ancient temples, experience heaps of local culture, incredible meals and culinary delights.

Many guests especially enjoyed the trip to the elephant sanctuary - a sacred place where the elephants who were previously used for inhumane tourism (before the Cambodian government banned the practice in 2019) have been rescued and will live out their natural lives being spoiled! Our guests got to feed them snacks, walk with them through the forest and even help bathe them!

The group also loved our final day to get off the beaten path of most tourists: a visit to a local school, a monk blessing in our guide's home and a bike ride through the rice paddy fields!

They helped the group find and learn about some of Africa's favorite wildlife: lions, elephants, rhinos, zebra and more! Every day on safari ended with sundowners (cocktails on the plains). Some extra memorable experiences were drinks on the Equatormeeting the last two northern white rhinos on Earth, spotting a cheetah and witnessing a lion pride with more than a dozen members!

#20 - Yoga + Hiking on the West Coast of Ireland

From hiking the rugged and world-famous Cliffs of Moher to trekking to a shipwreck on the Aran Island of Inisheer... we really used our legs to explore and made the most of the beautiful and unusually sunny fall weather on the west coast of Ireland!

But we countered all that walking with long soaks in the Canadian barrel hot tub, deep stretch evening yoga classes in our glass front yoga shala, sipping local hot tea in our journaling workshop, strolls along the seashore and dips in the chilly rocky ocean.

There's nothing quite like boarding your very own yacht for a weeklong tour on the Adriatic Sea with a group of 28 or so friends (new + old)!

Our cruise started along the stunning waterfront town of Split and then we explored all of the most beautiful towns on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia including Dubrovnik, Korčula and Hvar... as well as some lesser known areas such as the resort town of Makarska, the gleaming white stone village of Pučišća and our favorite family vineyard in Lumbarda.

#18 - Retreat into Luxury - Marrakech, Morocco

We lead a group of 15 Americans on their first trip to North Africa. They enjoyed a stunning retreat venue nestled between bustling Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. Gourmet meals, guided mountain village hikes, camel treks in the desert, local cooking classes, shopping in the markets, hearing the call to prayer during Ramadan - you name it, we experienced it!

You could say that we drank up every last drop of amazingness that these cultural and culinary activities can offer (most of which can only be had in Morocco).

#14 - Yoga + Culture in Cambodia

An amazing group of 14 guests enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to Southeast Asia. We traveled right after rainy season, so we got the most lush version of Cambodia with lots of greenery and teeming with life. We were based in the breathtaking town of Siem Reap which is packed with ancient temples, lotus flowers and Buddhist monks.

Our long-term partners and local guide teams showed the group an incredible week of the highlights like Angkor Wat (the largest religious complex in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site) and also more off-the-grid adventures like biking through local villages and being blessed by village monks at a local home with the whole neighborhood in attendance!

We also enjoyed a visit to a local market to shop and get ingredients for our local cooking class. We learned the secrets behind Cambodia's most popular dish - fish amok - a curry and coconut dish served over rice.
